Using Bentoshield Max and TechFiber in tunnels

Bentoshield, a bentonite based waterproofing product, becomes an impermeable layer, swelling 15-20 times its sodium bentonite content. It is not affected by various precipitation, freeze-thaw and wet-dry cycles such as passive membranes (PVC, HDPE, etc.). Due to its active and lively structure, it is especially preferred in subways and road tunnels.

• Can be applied by nailing Bentoshield. It does not require the use of a protective geotextile covering, which is required for products such as PVC and HDPE membranes, which are passive systems.
• No injection flanges are used.
